The Northern Bioenergy Partnership (NBP) is a not-for-profit Society consisting of a collaborative group of companies, organizations, and individuals engaged in the Bioenergy Industry in Northern British Columbia. The NBP is dedicated to ensuring Northern BC is recognized as a national leader in the forest-based bioenergy sector.

The Partnership's goal is to encourage the growth of the bioenergy industry in Northern BC by facilitating and showcasing bioenergy projects, attracting investment, encouraging local research and skills initiatives, addressing public policy issues and working with the public sector to ensure maximum access to local and global energy markets.

The Partnership is gaining recognition in both the public and private sectors for being the conduit to the bioenergy industry and stakeholders in Northern BC.

Student Membership: $25

Open to all undergraduate and graduate students at an accredited educational institution (Canada and overseas)

Addition to mailing list, regular NBP correspondence and correspondence relating to research opportunities, member job listings
Invited to AGM – inclusion in Poster Presentation

Transitional Membership: $100

Designed for first-time members, new to the bioenergy sector. 1-year trial membership to transition to higher level membership (extensions on case-by-case basis).

Silver Member: $500

Intended for individuals and small service firms.

Gold Member: $5,000

Platinum Member: $15,000

All benefits of Gold Membership, plus

Rates shown do not include the applicable 12% HST.

Honourary or Reciprocal Memberships will be given on a case-by-case basis by board decision.

Membership fees will include annual membership for the 2012 Calendar year and attendance at the 2012 AGM. Date and details of the AGM are to be announced.
